I am a composer. You are making a game to submit to Sylvie's Jam #1. It has a kitten and boat in it. I will write music for your submission to Sylvie's Jam #1. You will not pay me. You will like the music.

Hey! I'm Jake Loranger, a composer / sound designer. I've never worked with trackers before, so OpenMPT would be new to me, but I took a look at the video you linked and I don't think I'd have any trouble using it — actually, I would welcome to opportunity to give it a try, since it seems like a really interesting way to write music.

My Discord is _amrnthne#9499, and you can find my portfolio here. I have some more specific examples of my work that I can give you as well, but I'll save that for after you've sent me a message. Cheers!

- Jake

Hi! I'm Jake Loranger, a musician and composer.  I recently got finished with a commission, so I'm looking to line up some more work. I do sound effects as well, but I'm a composer first, so that's what I'll be elaborating on here.

The aforementioned commission was my track Ebb and Flood for the visual novel Momotype by Rimatoad and Glazed Goose! It's a really interesting game, and you can knock out a 100% run in a couple hours, so I highly recommend checking it out. You can also find my portfolio here, and the rest of my music on my Bandcamp.

I don't specialize in any particular genre per se, as I've played around in a lot of different styles, including lo-fi chillhop, solo pianoretrofuturistic space-funk and whatever you'd call this.  Above all else I prioritize creating the right vibe for the project I'm working on, and if that means writing outside of my comfort zone, I welcome the opportunity. I recognize that saying "I can do all sorts of stuff!" isn't very helpful though, so I'll cite a few composers I take inspiration from: namely Kensuke Ushio, Masayoshi Soken, Lena Raine and Disasterpeace. There are many, many others, of course, but Kensuke Ushio in particular has been my guiding star for a while now.

I'm open to all sorts of projects, but if I was going to make a wishlist, I'd say I'm currently most interested in writing either some really minimalist acoustic tracks or some hardcore synth-y trance type stuff.

If you're interested in working with me (or want to hear some examples of my work that I haven't been able to release as of yet) you can contact me on Discord at _amrnthne#9499, on Twitter at @_amrnthne, or through my email at itmeanseverlasting@gmail.com!

Thank you!

- Jake

No problem! Best of luck with the project.

Thank you, and no problem! If you're just looking to consult about game music, I wouldn't mind taking a shot at answering your questions free of charge. You can hit me up on Discord at _amrnthne#9499, Twitter at @_amrnthne, or through email at itmeanseverlasting@gmail.com.

Hi! I'm a freelance composer and I've always been interested in composing music for a horror game.  I don't have any examples in that genre that have been publicly released, but you can listen to my other music at https://amaranthine.bandcamp.com if you're interested.

Is this a paid position? Unfortunately, at the moment, I can't take unpaid gigs—I understand that indie game dev budgets are limited, though, so I'm happy to adapt to your needs if you'd like to work together.

Thanks!

- Jake

Hey! I'm a freelance composer with a strong music theory background, so I could probably help you out.

To clarify, though, is this a paid position? I am, unfortunately, not able to take on unpaid projects at the moment. If you'd like to check out my music, my portfolio is at https://jakeloranger.carrd.co/.

Hi! I'm Jake, a composer, producer and sound designer from Washington State. The project I've been working on is coming to a close, so I'm looking to get some more work lined up.

I'm most experienced with writing electronic, ambient and classical- or jazz-inspired small ensemble music, but I'm confident I could adapt to just about any style a given project needs. As per the title, I also have some experience producing sound effects.

My portfolio, which I try my best to keep up-to-date, is at https://jakeloranger.carrd.co/. While I've worked on many projects at this point, unfortunately only a few have seen release, so if anyone wants to hear some of my unreleased work (which may be more relevant to their interests) I will gladly send a few example tracks through email or DM. Speaking of which, my email is itmeanseverlasting@gmail.com and you can also contact me on Discord at _amrnthne#9499 or Twitter at @_amrnthne!

As for payment: I'm not in a position to take on unpaid gigs at the moment, but I'm aware that indie projects tend to have tight budgets, so my rates are very flexible. Hit me up if you're interested and we can work it out!

Thanks!

Hi! I'm a professional composer and sound designer who's looking for some new cool projects to work on. I have an advanced understanding of music theory, as well as how best to apply it to represent characters and other elements of a story.  I am most experienced with modern electronic music production, but I have also had success writing for more traditional instruments, and I'm confident I could convincingly write just about any style of music.

The bulk of my work (unfortunately, much of it is still unreleased) can be found on my Bandcamp here: https://amaranthine.bandcamp.com

And you can find my portfolio here: https://jakeloranger.carrd.co/

My portfolio has a section containing a few examples of my sound design work. If you're curious about my music, then I would most recommend these albums to give you an idea of my work's style and scope:

You can contact me on discord at @amrnthne#9499, on Twitter at @_amrnthne, or email me at itmeanseverlasting@gmail.com.

Thank you!

Jake

Hey! I'm a producer and game enthusiast who's looking for a project to work on. I expect pay, but I'm not too demanding, and I'm open to negotiation.

My field of expertise is mainly lo-fi electronic music, but I'm confident I could match just about any style asked of me.  In particular, I've been practicing orchestral composition recently—unfortunately, I haven't been able to release any of that yet, but I have a good back-catalog of other music you can reference on my portfolio here.

I also have experience as a sound designer, although none of that work is public yet either, as the game hasn't been released. If you're interested in hiring me for sound design, I'd be more than happy to send you some examples of SFX work I've done privately.

My Twitter is @_amrnthne, my Discord is moopdog#9499, and you can also reach my through my email at "itmeanseverlasting@gmail.com." Please contact me if you're interested. Thank you!

Hey! If you happen to still need a composer or a sound designer, I'd love to join! My Discord is _amrnthne#9499 and you can find my portfolio at https://jakeloranger.carrd.co/. The Earthbound and Undertale soundtracks are both huge inspirations for me, so I'd be thrilled to work on a game like that.

Hey! I'm a producer and game enthusiast who's looking for a project to work on. I expect pay, but I'm not too demanding, and open to negotiation. I'm most interested in story-based games, such as visual novels, but I'm willing to work on practically any game.

My field of expertise is primarily lo-fi electronic music. Much of my previous work has had a more mellow character, but I recently released an EP with the intent of proving that I'm capable of other tones as well. You can find that, and the rest of my music, on my Bandcamp: https://amaranthine.bandcamp.com/album/collider

I was recently recruited for a game, and I'm expecting to have more work from them sometime in the coming year. However, for the time being, I'm completely free, and wouldn't mind dedicating a lot of time to an interesting project.

I'm also willing to try my hand at sound design, making SFX and the like. I don't yet have any experience in this field, but I'm confident that I could learn quickly. I don't expect anyone to jump at the opportunity to hire a sound designer with no experience, but I recognize that VGM production is a highly competitive field, and I figure it's better to diversify my offerings. While I haven't worked in sound design before, I know a lot about music and spend a great deal of my time thinking about sound. Make of that what you will.

My Twitter is @_amrnthne and my Discord is moopdog#9499. Please contact me if you're interested. Thank you!

My field of expertise is primarily lo-fi electronic music with creative sound design, but I just released an album of pieces for solo piano as an exercise in traditional composition, and I am very pleased with the results.

You can listen to my music on Bandcamp at this link: https://amaranthine.bandcamp.com

One of my recent releases, Simulant Rain, was heavily inspired by atmospheric VGM from games like Celeste and Hyper Light Drifter. That album can be found here: https://amaranthine.bandcamp.com/album/simulant-rain
